Chargers Wrap up Season at Lake Erie, Looking for 4th Win in a Row

Whether the momentum of winning your last game ever really carries over 9 months later is debatable; it does however make a great sports writing cliché.

Hillsdale goes for its 4th in a row today as the Chargers wrap up 2017 in Painesville, OH at Lake Erie College. Chargers beat the Storm 42-10 last year to cap 2016.

One storyline to follow today is WR Trey Brock’s quest to become Hillsdale’s all-time leading receiver. While the single season mark of 1368 set by Andre Holmes in 2010 is 209 yards away for Brock, the career mark is a little more in range. Brock has 2957 career yards entering today’s game which is only 135 yards off of Holmes’ 3,092. Whether that career mark falls today or not, it’s pretty much inevitable as Brock still has another whole year of eligibility as a Charger. Oh by the way, Brock had 137 yards last year against Lake Erie.

Game time is  2:00 PM. Follow the action with the following links from Hillsdale College’s Preview.
